I'll deffo be organising another Dyno-Day @ JKM this year.

Cheers Robin , cant wait for the next one  :happy2:

....Too early to fix a date yet but I'm looking with JKM at possibly May or September  :happy2:

That'll be good for those who couldn't come this time and those keen on another one. It was a great day and a nice group of people.

Lets hope it is the plugs and nothing else to worry about. It has been mentioned it could be an injector but lets not go down that route yet  :scared:

It was good that Steve P was fitting the MFSW buttons around the back requiring VCDS and good that he was willing to help.

Hope the plugs sort out the high rev power dip.

Are JKM fitting the cooler temperature Iridium plugs?

No need for colder plugs on stage one.

No need for colder plugs on stage one.

.... x2  - It's also what JKM advise.

Just change plugs every 20k miles on a remapped 2.0T FSI car - It's a sensible maintenance plan.

I stand to be corrected but I seem to recall the OEM part number for the TFSi plug changed a while back to a colder plug.

....I know that the OEM plug did change but didn't know it may have been colder. However, by changing every 20k miles to the current OEM plug the question will be covered.  :happy2:

I agree regular changes are worthwhile, the OEM approved life is far too long IMHO.

I wish that was the same for the 1.4TSi.  These spit spark plugs out pretty much every 5k :fighting:  VAG say 20k though

Are you sure that's spark plugs the Homomobile needs and not new Butt plugs?  :booty:

There appears to be split opinion on what the best temperature plug is.

I was primarily curious which temp plug will be fitted, as another data point.

Very nice graphs there  :happy2: Exactly the sort of figures and curve you should get with a stage 1 remap.

R-Tecs dyno must over read torque a fair bit.  Thats 40lbft lower than you made up there isnt it?

Yes Sy is a bit lower, but I'm guessing any other dyno will over read against JKM's.

I'm pleased with how smooth the power & torque are, AFR is a bit up & down but it drives nicely so can't moan  :driver:

Seems to have made a bit more than the other Stage 1 K03's (I'd put that down to the pre-cat removal & K&N)
NOW: 2015 Golf R DSG 5 Door, Lapiz Blue, 19s, Discover Nav, Reversing Camera
