My car is pulling to the left after a having a WALK and rear ARB and a full four wheel alignment at Midland VW

Jody (gaffer at Midland VW) is adamant this is the WALK wanting to follow the camber of the road and the the alignment is perfect. Apparently even had two or three goes at trying to get it to go straight.

I'll be following this with interest to see if you find a solution

After one alignment my car was also pulling to one side.
I phoned the dealer and they offered me a new alignment to fix THEIR mistake.

In your case maybe they had some issues with the caster setup, tried to get it between the allowed limits by VW and messed up your general alignment.
Also if they raise the car (needed in some cases for better alignment) when putting it back on the ground the suspension will not set and you might get differences. This is the case if you have stiffer suspension.

Hi guys I have had the 4 wheel alignment re done on my car by a company in Doncaster (I will post details at the bottom).

Basically the guy who "aligned" my car in the first place was a complete muppet the rear left hand had loads of positive toe and the right rear had loads of negative toe so the rear was pulling right which led to me correcting it with the steering wheel hence why it was off centre.

Also the front left hand wheel had excessive camber which was way out of tolerance.

The guy took time to explain what he was doing at every stage and adjustments that he made. I also explained what modifications the car had (WALK & Lowering springs) so he could take this into consideration.

The alignment took about 45 mins and cost £50.

I cannot reccomended these guys enough they clearly know there stuff and have now returned my car to how it should drive.

 :happy2: :happy2: :happy2:

Glad to see you car feels fine now.

If the steering wheel isn't centered there's somthing wrong with the alignment.
