Wheel refurbishing companies - 25 miles of Poole, Dorset
« on: January 08, 2012, 03:25:09 pm »
A quick request for views / experiences of alloy wheel refurbishing companies within approximately a 25 mile radius of Poole, Dorset.

I've used Alloy Magic (Creekmoor) in the past, but wondering what other options there are in the area and crucially whether they are up to scratch.

Cheers.

A friend of mine works in a bodyshop who has painted body work and refurbished wheels for me before. Decent price and right next to castlepoint. His name is Ben and works for Brightwheels UK, he is the main guy there and pretty much runs the wheel painting and refurb side.

He also paints calipers etc and is a genuine guy. Worth asking for a quote and say dan mckenzie sent you his way, might get a better deal. Always see exotic cars in that place but still do good deals.

Certainly can't harm to get a quote  They have a lot of donor wheels available so if you have a daily driver then makes things easier to get your wheels done. Have had 2 complete sets of wheels done by him, calipers, bumper, bonnet, spoilers and does great deals and still great quality.

Ta. I'll give the suggestions a call and see what comes up.

The powder coaters in B'ford look handy for another project, so that's a useful suggestion.
