Rear wash problem
« on: January 09, 2012, 10:34:10 pm »
when i spray water onto the rear window it not only sprays the window but the boot lid as well, basically the spray does not just stay on the glass what ever directs the spray has got stuck if you know what i mean. Dealer says it has got stuck and may need the whole thing replacing at ££££. was wondering if its an easy fix.

The washer jet nozzle can be manipulated with a needle.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

not sure how to explain this, if i squirt water as the wiper arm moves across, the spray starts in the middle then follows wiper arm. so when the wiper arm is horizontal its spraying the middle of the screen. when the wiper is vertical , it is spraying boot lid.
