Leaking problem
« on: January 13, 2012, 01:42:00 pm »
Just been outside and seen my car seems to be leaking some form of fluid.

This has been sat still since 8.10 this morning, the substance it is leaking is clear and does not smell of anything in the drip form, it is leaking from behind the drivers front wheel, i feel it is running along something to end up here but due to been at work i can not jack the car up etc

here are a few pics of where it is dripping from;

does anyone have any idea of what this could be?? i can only think it must be the washer fluid bottle, its working currently but will see if it has drained itself later.

Any help or ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Mark

Washer bottle is on that side. Could be leaking onto the undertray and then out behind the wheel? Might have frozen up and popped one of the tubes off. Did you use the screenwash prior to leaking? Do you have headlight washers?

weather hasnt been freezing for a while though.

I do not have headlight washers. I havnt used the screen wash since last week, the screen wash still currently works and sprays

I'm going to remove my bumper tonight and have a better look
