Parking Sensor - Rear Bumper Measurements
« on: January 11, 2012, 08:34:13 pm »
Hoping a fellow member could possibly measure the OEM park assist location on a Mk5 rear bumper.
I'm assuming they are not marked with an "X" on the inner rear of the bumper like the later Audi A3 8P.

If not could someone measure the following...

1) The distance between the two inner sensors, centre to centre.
2) The distance from the outer sensor to the inner sensor, centre to centre.
3) The height of the sensor from the split where the valance meets the bumper to the centre of the sensor. Can you also confirm that said distance is same for inner and outer centre.

One last thing.
Where is the gromit located in order to wire the sensors through to the boot.

Super Smashing Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
