I've just spent about 2 months looking at various 37" TV'S and finally narrowed it down to the Samsung 6530 ant Panasonic DT30. I THE Samsung got slightly better reviews on the 2D but slated in the 3D plus its response times for gaming were poor. In the end I went for the Panasonic that recently got 5 gold stars in what sound and vision magazine. It got good reviews across the board, fits especially gaming and 3D. I can vouch for it too. Awesome piece ofkit to be honest especially if you invest in a good calibration DVD to set it up.

I've always gone for Samsung tvs, got a 32" Led one at the moment, really like the look of Samsung tvs. But after reading reviews I dont think they're the best for 3D. I quite like the sound of the Panasonic DT30, got some really good reviews. Ideally I want a 37" but dont know if my budget will stretch that far.  :ashamed:

Just want to find the right one to go along side my man-machine/ man-station. :laugh:

I was also concerned about reviews that slated the 3D on the Samsungs seeing as i'm a bit of a fan boy of their tvs  :signLOL:

Tried loads of different sets in the shops and couldnt see any noticeable difference in my price range if i'm honest, tried the 3D on both Blueray and my Xbox and it's spot on for me? 2D to 3D conversion also works great on MW3 for me and Emmerdale for the missus lol!
I try to take the reviews with a pinch of salt as most get far too indepth for what at the end of the day is a posh telly, i'm never going to run a 3D test disc and measure for image crosstalk nor am i going to measure my gaming screen response time down to the last millisecond...

My advice, get the set that impresses YOU the most in your price range and dont get too hung up on 'pro' reviews, one mans meat and all that...  :wink:

Ah. When I was buying home cinema the first question I was asked was about wife acceptancy.  :laugh:

Currys had an in store deal for a Panasonic 32" led with free view, hdmi sd pc scart ports and HD for £199.99

Bought one for my boys Xbox and its better than the man sized plasma in the lounge!

All but the best Samsungs LED televisions don't have full HD 3D displays. Infact the 6530 I looked at said it did on the box but in the e reviews they found 3D resolution to be less than standard def pictures. Poor.

I got the DT30, 2 x pairs of glasses, a BDT211 BLURAY and 5 year warranty for 800 which was good I thought.

Steve... What was the damage for your TV. Gonna get a new one this year, my panny is playing up and looking a bit tiny. (32")
