Long stay car park in heathrow airport

Hi all,My cousin has brought a mk6 Gti,he will be going on holiday next month for 5days & was thinking of using the Long stay parking facilities in heathrow terminal 3...anybody used the long stay parking at heathrow before & most importantly is the security at the car park Any good

Just messing fella, sdorry cant recommend heathrow as not parked there, can rec one in manchester tho.

I've used "pink elephant" at heathrow loads of times, secure with CCTV and barriers etc, onsite and never had a problem, very very cheap if you know the loopholes

Pink Elephant is no longer on site, and you have to leave your keys with them, you drop your car off, they park it for you and then have it ready on your return

Depending on the company you choose and duration of your holday the cars are kept nearby in Hayes.. about 5mins from my workplace. There's a large space of land which was empty a few months ago but now full of hundreds of cars all parked up. Personally i wouldnt leave my car there..

He is thinking of just going in the long stay car park...think u don't have to leave the keys as its just a normal car park with extra security

Yep if you book on the main heathrow website you will get the standard long stay car park which you park the car yourself and keep your own keys. This is the one I always use and will be using again tomorrow morning

Yes,that's the one..You get a cheaper price if u book early

I've left my car there before with no problems.  I'd never leave it in a car park where you have to hand your keys in and get it parked/valeted for you though!
