funny you should say that i found a place in coventry that does custom interior designs. i also had a contact in essex that did the same but lost the number  :ashamed:. but the more i drive the car the more i love the tartan set up. did have the thought of changing to leathers when 1st purchased but now i shall remain loyal to the cloth  :P

The only interior change I'd make is the RNS 510 or whatever it's called, and maybe an ED30 interior. I agree with you Marvin, I'd never get rid of the tartan completely, it reminds me of my mk2 every time I get in it.

Had the choice of leather or tartan cloth when i bought mine as they had 2 GTI's for sale and both had almost identical spec and mileage apart from colour and the interiors, always wanted a black 3 door but also just had to have the cloth interior

Maybe wanna get the silver dash strips and air vent/radio surround gloss black wrapped  not sure yet think i need to see some close up

Also wanna check out some LED interior bulbs

It would be great to have some more variety this time, would love to have some more diesel drivers come, then I won't feel like the odd one out!

We're all loving the Tartan! I love the silver inserts in mine, I think they lift the interior, and give it a real quality feel. However, as you have that sexy RNS510 with gloss black surround, that could really work with matching gloss black inserts.  :happy2:

Exactly what i was thinking Ian with the inserts and surround but just need to see it in the flesh to see if it works or would be too much black and ruin the dash
