coilover help fk streetline
« on: January 15, 2012, 05:53:57 pm »
Hi guys

just put some fk streetline coilovers on my mk5 gti dsg
and i feel that the ride is harsh and want to make it softer

told the guy to only make it 30mm low but ended up dropping it really low
i will add some pictures little later. but he does not know how low to adjust them as they didnt come with any instructions

My understanding is if i raise the car will it make the ride softer, is this true?
the mechanic told me it will not make a difference high or low its the same stiffness

The higher you go will make the ride a little softer but these coilovers are at the budget end if the scale so dont expect miracles.
