Is the internet dead?

Seems a lot of major sites are down tonight, anyone else having problems? Twitter has reports of hotmail, facebook, ebay etc... All having big problems.

If your on Virgin, I have just had the same problem for a good 1 hour. Xbox live went down aswell!

Its all come back on now touch wood stays on! Funny enough 150 from homeline didnt work or the support number.

I'm also on virgin and also having the same issue with various sites like eBay, yahoo, etc.

Not tonight, but the internet dies tomorrow. Then back on Thursday, hopefully.

On VM and ebay is a bit slower than normal but nothing major and everything else is working apart from facebook. It's not working on the laptop but it is on the phones over wifi
