what they like on fuel in standard spec ?

Atfirst they get nowhere near the quoted figures.  After about 2k awesome.  I averaged 22mpg for a 70 mile return journey to mallory park and over 70+ laps.  Still had 1/4 tank left after the whole day.

Round town 35-38mpg
Motorway 45-50mpg
Driven briskly everywherr 28-35mpg

Pretty much 10mpg minimum better than my octavia vRS was, and this is quicker

They have a few funny angles, but in the some colour schemes they actually look pretty good IMO.   Others make it look worse.

The first ones came with clear headlights, and chrome grills.  The newer ones come with the black pack which include tinited headlights, black grill amongst other things

I prefer the shape of the estate personally

This one makes me laugh.  They look like toy cars and bikes

But then you might prefer it looking like this

Theres a thread here on briskoda with images of most of the forum vRS's so you can have a good flick through the main/roof and alloy wheel colour combinations  http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/186943-the-fabia-vrs-review-and-photo-thread/page__st__360

The Focus RS looks great in certain colours.  White being my favourite, followed by the blue.  Not keen on any of the others.

There is only one more colour and thats the colour i bought .....

Got to say i love my FRS , the fact of the matter though is that everone looks for differant things in a hot hatch, wheather its track ability, the way the car makes you feel, practicality, interior quality, build quality, refinement, speed, handeling, modding potential, looks or something else. You could pick a completely differant hot hatch as a winner for each of these categories we have all selected our cars on what suits our needs

Although i can say having driven most hot hatches the focus RS is head and sholders above the rest....................... Ha ha only kidding

Got to say i had basically bought the rs looks wise before id even bought it, i personally love the rear vallance too the rear view is really hardcore with the big spoiler vallance wide arches and massivse pipes.
The ford garage where i bought the rs had a golf r they were trying to get shot of and knocked 3k of the price for me, it was still more expensive than the rs only about a grand though and i really liked that i was so tempted took it for a spin it was rapid ( found out it had been mapped ) bluefin unit in the glove box. I know though if id bought it i would of had the rs in a year or so anyway as id wanted one since id first seen it, also ive never had a new car before so that sort of swayed me !

The RSes are pretty common but i like that, it usually means better tuning products saying that though there are less FRSes than megane renaultsports according to the production numbers there were 11000 rses world wide and 500 of theses were rs 500s compared to nearly double that of the mk3 megane varients and counting as i believe they are still in production until 2013

I thought the ring lap on the 265 was pretty impressive a lot of tyre squeel though and not much engine noise !

Id love to see propper lap round there with sorted 2+ golf r, s3, rocco r cupra or eddy - hurdys lap was impressive ( i think its the fastest 2.0tfsi lap of the ring ive seen) but traffic is always going to slow you down !

RS lap - this is the fastest modern day fwd car ive seen on oem engine turbo set up, that has not been stripped anyway,
