Philips Xtreme Power H7 Bulbs * UPDATED 25/09/14*

I had the same with the wife's A3. Stuck a set of Philips uprated bulbs in and couldn't see any difference. Audi's halogen headlights really are poor and don't seem to be improved with "better" bulbs.

that's weird, i had a MASSIVE improvement in light output? you can even see the difference in whiteness in the daylight photo i put in the OP

I saw an improvement from standard to Phillips. They are defiantly more white. I think, it's just my opinion, people expect much much more from just changing a bulb. I think changing from halogen to xenon you would see a difference.
...Then again. I could be wrong

SWMBO actually thinks they ARE a better and whiter light, so maybe I jumped the gun a little, I know when I have changed them in previous cars there was a distinct improvement.
