Did you get it working then?
It could be possible you have a leak.
I may have to check mine as I got the low level warning and I've not used it much recently. I thought the headlamp washers wouldn't spray once the warning was on.
Best way to check for a leak is to totally fill it to the brim on a night, and check in the morning (don't pour it in too quick to trap air and give a false reading once it burps).
You must have it coded correctly as otherwise the warning would be constantly on? Was your sensor new?
yup cheers matey
the idiot moment i had was wondering where this mythical 'pin 8 of the relay' was until i actually looked at the relay base...lol
all working beautifully, i did have an initial leak but that was from one of the windscreen washer pipes (the washer in the T piece must have fallen out, quick trip to the breakers and sorted that out)
i used the sensor which came in the bottle...now i'm thinking to replace it with the new sensor ive had waiting which i was going to retrofit into my old bottle
and mike....i've got a little mod that i've been thinking up in relation to what you've just written...i'm just curious if it'll actually work 'on the fly' with the CECM module
does anyone know if it would actually be possible to put a switch inline to the power for the headlight washers? such that thhey could be deactivated quite literally at the flick of a switch (i.e. deactivate in summer, activate in winter) or is this just a very longabout way of taking the fuse out?lol
