Hey hello folks!

nice to meet ya all! i currently have mk5 gt tdi (55 plate), remapped with my chipped uk box,for the last 4 years....and looking to get the mk5 gti , something a bit quicker than mine lol.
aint made my mind up what colour to get yet tho, i like the dark grey colour

Try one of each before buying anything. Personally I love my DSG but it's not for everyone

i was gonna get the r32...took  me about a week of trying to decide, in the end i think the gti is more tunable  on my budget.
cant wait to get  the gti.

See my thread on the CAR magazine Feb 2012 article on buying a Mk5 GTI. Some really useful stuff there.

Oh, and by the way, they recommend a cloth seated manual to get one of the best hot hatches ever!

Steel Grey is a Gorgeous colour (prob my fave), but then again I love em all.
