bonnet adjustment
« on: January 19, 2012, 09:02:07 pm »
Just had my bonnet replaced on warranty and went to pick it up today.
The gaps were fine but I noticed the position front to back was incorrect which can be adjusted on the slots on the hinges.
Also the level relative to the wings nearest the screen were low.

Question..
how is this adjusted? is it something to do with the stopper on the bonnet hinges sitting on those bolts near the top of the wings?
I have left the car agin to get sorted before I take it away but was just wondering how it is adjusted for my benefit in case we get some conflict!

ps the front in nicely level with the wings which i assume is just the rubber stops?
cheers

If it's a warranty job take it straight back and get them to sort it otherwise if you do it and manage to damage or distort it you'll be out on your own.
