« on: January 20, 2012, 03:59:08 pm »
In the last 5 months I have travelled around Europe competing at Biathlon for the Army every time I have been to a new country I have checked a few places for prices on Contisport contact 5's and can't find them any cheaper than camskill in France, Norway, Austria, Switzerland or Germany?I'm in Germany now visiting the eagles nest tomorrow should be interesting! lol oh well was worth a try.

You would have to know some one in Uk forces based in Germany (I've just moved back  :sad1:)
You buy a tax free cheque for 4€ take it to the tyre shop. The army pays the bill and takes the money from your bank minus 19%

I will miss it!  :sad1:

Don't let them fob you off and tell you "I'm not on one stop, I haven't got a german bank account"

There's then2 stop method where you pay the amount to the central bank on camp and they give you a cheque for the amount to take back to the shop :happy2:

I love the berchtesgaden area! The eagles nest is worth the trip, make sure you go to lake konigssee aswell.

My old boss lived in portugal and worked in the uk, used to take tyres home all the time saying they were cheaper over here

Candy White 5 door mk6 gti  and a escort cosworth for wasting money on!!
