hello all,

well as i been on here for a few days now, i have been looking around at everyones mk5, im getting ideas in my head! not a good thing as its going to cost even more, so here is alittle about the car,

bought it from vw in huddersfield price £10,000, with 5 years free servicers and MOT with parts n labour, TOP DEAL!
its a standard mk5 GT TDI with clasick alloys 17" with brand new tyres, will with coloured bands around, the car has lots of miles as it was owned my the garage for a dealers show car! came with soooo much paper work! lol. it came with the black front gill but its chaned to silver now as it looks better. interia, has full leather seats, front heated, read windows tinted,

this is day day i got it, i took it home and swapped the front grill over. im not looking for a short number plate as im not over keen on the long number plate on it.

this is with my number plate

a few pics from different angle here,

here a few of inbteria lights

jobs i wanna do are
1, monza alloys
2, lower her on coilovers
3, rear of car with the GTI look, bumber, exhaust and lights
4, updating head unit to the one with built in satnav
5, highline clocks
6, multi funvtion steering wheel
7, smaller arial
8, projector hid headlights

long list cant remember every thing

hope you all like please give feed back, good or bad

thanks gaz

Looks nice mate, do like the jetta grille, wish the VW badge on them fitted the GTI's
Not high mileage at all really for a diesel. I do long to get 50mpg out of my GTI, never going to happen though.
Look forward to the updates,  :happy2:

Hello all. Well the delivery fairy paid me a visit today. Dropped off my gti front. And I paid a trip to Leeds an picked up monza alloys. Also got her cleaned.

Here my new front.

Here is it on the car not a good pic but can see it.

Also here are the alloys

Here a few of her getting a wash.

So I not have forsale my old front ad grill. Please see the for sale section.

Thanks to those who helped.
More updates to come.

Thanks banham. I want it to look nice not going OTT. It's going to be a slow process tho. Saving up for a remap in summer.
