I dont think the exhaust has anything much to do with it,  a quick vagcom check should highlight any issues. Look at coolant temp, oil temp and air temp figures, all should be similar when the engine is totally cold in the morning.

temp gauge is at the bottom and warms up as usual after 5-10mins

everything else seems normal, such as performance, engine sound, mpg...

my friend has vagcom so will as him to bring it around

Mine is the same in cold weather, the revs don't sit high they just go straight to 'normal' idle.  In warm weather they will sit high for a while then drop.  Been doing this for 4 years so assume its normal enough but I have to admit I would have thought it would be the other way round.

Sorry to change subject slightly. But how loud is it with the backbox removed? I got decat downpipe n standard system, i like how only loud when foot down. did that make it constantly loud or only when foot to floor at over 4k

Mate all I can say the exhaust is AWESSOMEE  :jumpmove:

Its not loud on the motorway no drones or boom noises
Its quite in city driving and a beast when accelerating hard

Mines a DSG gear box when it changes gear the dsg burp sounds wicked

Don’t get me wrong you can tell you have a different exhaust cause of the deepness in sound but not chavy no way annoying

Man it puts a smile on my face and love driving my car even more

If your thinking of this setup I would recommend blueflame performance cause you know your dealing with big boys cause they manufacture exhaust unlike nearly everyone else

Custom places are a joke I have used MIJ in Birmingham what a load of pants
Never again anywhere like that. Bending some pipes together and welding them calling that a custom exhaust

The quality is exceptionally high and uk made it’s the best £150 I have ever spent
On the car

No mpg less
Better and smoother gear changes (don’t know why)
2.5inch pipe
3.5inch tail pipe fits snug

Cant appraise them enough
