Running in a clutch?
« on: January 18, 2012, 10:07:37 am »
Having my clutch done soon with a new DMF aswell...

Is there a specific way of running in a new clutch? Take it easy for 1000miles or so?

Any advice appreciated,

Cheers,

Dom

take it easy-ish for the first 500miles or so, get it back to the garage to make sure no bolts or nothing have worked loose, after that, drive as normal! but try not to do any racing starts or low rev acceleration so your not putting too much strain on the clutch/DMF, had mine done 400miles ago and this was the advice i was given over on tdiclub.com
