How much? Must be some kind of mistake there as that kit is £255.03 + VAT RRP.

The price of £44+ vat will almost certainly be the panel filter

Yes sorry, I got h=the prices and codes mixed up. These are about 200 a pop I believe

Don't wanna hi-jack this thread too much but it made 248bhp and a collossal 311lb/ft of torque, both curves are very smooth and it holds it right up to higher revs. Very impressed with it - although the clutch is struggling a bit (slips in 4-6th if I try to use the torque rather than drop a gear. Helix clutch will be the next mod

Was that Stage 1 you've had done?

Cheers mate, I'm going Stage 1 next month, 245 bhp....that'll do nicely!

Pipercross panel filter is a PP1624 I think. Thanks for the heads-up on the oily issue with K&N. I think I'm going to go for that Pipercross PF and the Stage 1 and leave it at that.

I fitted a K&N panel filter, can't say I noticed much difference... Are the K&N panel filters oiled I guess?

Yes, and apparently these can knacker the MAF sensor, see earlier in this thread.

I have run both the k&n panel filter and intake kit and never had any issues. Its when people over oil them after cleaning that issues happen.
