Can't wait Chris.... :popcornsoda:

I just love that Blue Paint.

I know R32's are heavy girls but I wonder just how much weight you could shed on one.
I remember JonnyC went to town on his Ed30 diet, as he knew that the weight loss was a major factor for speed!

I'd love to track a featherweight R32 with track tyres/brakes

...Sorry I seem to have gone off on one.  :ashamed:

Cheers mate!

I have been looking at Shedding weight, but i want the car to still be a daily driver with the comforts that it has. So nothing drastic will be getting chucked...like the back seats or even the big heavy front seats!

The car will remain looking like it is, I'm not going to be dropping it on its arse or anything (mainly due to height restrictions with getting on and off my drive)
Im keeping the standard wheels as i think they suit the car well and I'm having trouble choosing anything else to replace them with.

Other than that my lips are sealed for now!

I don't know a huge amount about Mk5 R32's, but don't you boys just think "sod the weight, lets stick a couple of Turbo's on"? I've read about 500+ bhp bi-turbo R32's

Fun Golf: 2016 mk7 R DSG 3 door. Work Golf: 2015 mk7 1.4 TSI GT ACT 5 door.
Gone but not forgotten : mk2 Golf GTI 16v, mk4 Golf V6 4Motion, mk5 GTI Storm Developments Stage 1, mk5 GTI Revo Stage 1, BMW 330ci, Skoda Octavia VRS Revo Stage 2, BMW Z4 Sdrive35i.

Not many FI Mk5 R32's in the UK, only 1 S/C i think.

Maybe a T/C one soon  :innocent:

Aint been on here for a while but things have changed a lot!

Car is now turbo'd, theres a build thread on R32OC if anyone is interested.

Myself and two friends of mine completed the build in 5 days. Now waiting on 3rd Party to get some flanges ready so i can modify my exhaust! (only been waiting a week now)

heres the link:

http://www.r32oc.com/topic/42987-hpa-turbo-build-mk5-r32/

If not let me know and i will copy and paste it onto this forum if anyone is interested?

Cheers
Chris

it just goes to show what a bit of bullying can do to force someone into getting a turbo
