New GTI Owner
« on: January 23, 2012, 02:35:16 pm »
Hey all, just bought myself a 07 plate Golf GTi in reflex silver yesterday, pick it up Wednesday after a few months saving.
I went from a 05 plate polo 1.2, to this beasty  :jumping: It's only my second car as I'm just turning 22, but I'm looking forward to the adventure :D

I'll get some pics up once I collect it  :happy2:

Any plans to modify? I got mine at 21 and swore I'd leave it standard. Whoops

Cheers guys :D

I don't plan on anything yet, need to save more money up again haha, though I think the first thing will be a cosmetic change to the rear bumper so it's colour coded sorta like the 30 edition... After that who knows

Hey guys just a quick question, I'm going to have the rear bumper colour coded probably next week.... Should I leave the bumper textured and get it sprayed over it or ask them to smooth it first?

Cheers

Good man. It'll look odd otherwise. When I fitted my R32 rear I has the side skirts and front splitter smoothed and painted. Well worth the wait

I'd love to get the side skirts and front splitter done, but don't have the cash at the moment after buying the car  :sad1:

£120 smoothed and coloured, though im leaving the part near the exhaust black
