smooth rear bumper

has anyone smoothed the standard rear bumper in? Im wanting to smooth the lower plastic half into the top half but wondered as there is a slight step between the 2 can it be done?

anyone got pic`s?

Have a look at Top Cat's old thread. He managed something similar and it looked gorgeous.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

I wonder whether TC deleted it when he sold the car?

Have seen some done quite badly though.
Was going to get mine done like this, local garage said they doubt they could do it properly, and the guy who did TC's has shut shop too

IIRC TC had trouble with getting it done from one bodyshop.

If you like the one piece style bumper the thunderbunny rear like Steve P's is very nice.
