I've changed mine every 6-10k miles and never found serious wear. Having said that you can't drive that hard to tesco and back  :ashamed:

Interested in cam developments  :popcornsoda:

thanks bud! was a very proud end to alot of blood sweat and tears for me - soo good to be able to organise a shoot that incorporated my friends that had been so important through the build: i just graduated uni will all the ambition in the world when i commenced that build, that car taught me ALOT about tuning in the real world and i learned to live map with it. i owe it alot  :drinking:

i'll keep you guys all in the loop about the cam pricing - and with the power gains.  :happy2:

so, i fitted my hybrid front struts last night - got the front another 10mm down with 30mm of thread left, will probably lower the car another 10-15mm all round when i have had the chance to notch the chassis, cause we have a little bit of body to driveshaft interaction right now

i like my cars low but to still remain comfortable and have a good ride, i think we might be there with this setup :D

and as i said before the cams are in there now, did some miles last night to break in the coating on the cam lobe, will be dynoing later to see what's up if the workload allows!

not alot to see now they are installed, but i also changed the rocker to a baby blue flake number...

kept the window off the vernier, which is obviously not entierly advisable - but i can be a tart every now and then right?

thanks dude!

right then, some stuffs gone on with this thing of late:

new fuel filter and finally got the fresh map sensor in - old one was faulty, ran some fuel system cleaner too for good measure...

then took the intercooler off to try and sort the fins out and give it a little cleanup behind there...

next up i fitted some K-Mac adjustable camber AND castor top mounts...

which are AWESOME, can get upto about 3" of camber at max settings and have dropped the car about 1"

also notched the chassis while i was there:

needs the wider Brabus wheels now though

oh, and going to drop this little lot off to the snowman for paint...
