Size of a standard mk5 gti front badge?

I have just bought a gti grill it's not genuine but good quality but the owner before has done something with the vw badge :S
It was held on with silicone.. And it doesn't fit properly :(
Can someone measure the size of a standard gti vw badge on the front grill please?
