Hope you feel better soon matey!

Nothing more debilitating than back pain. I've been suffering with sciatica for the last few weeks so can sympathise.  :sad1:

Keep moving! Is it just lower back pain or any referred pain into your legs?

Where is the back pain specifically? How low down? On one side or both? In the middle or not? Any shooting pains down the back of your legs?

Red flags which mean you need to consult a doctor immediately: problems opening your bladder/bowels (asin physically being unable to do so), difficultly walking because of weakness rather than pain, losing sensation down your legs

Chances are it's muscular, but I'd go to your GP to make sure and that way you can be referred to physio

You can get low strength co-codamol over the counter which you can have with your ibuprofen. Just be aware that it can bung you up and straining can make the back pain worse so plenty of fluid/fruit when you're taking it. And keep active because if you sit down your back will stiffen up and make it more painful

No pains in legs, or pins and needles just lower back pain! Iv'e had back pains before but not like this where I cannot walk?

Just at the moment I'm on the sofa, pillow under my back trying to keep has straight as possible, I can push myself up on my left side but on my right side or trying to pull myself up I just get a shooting pain in the center and right side of my back.

Thanks for the kind wishes guys

Sorry to hear this and hope you get well.

As above, any worrying symptoms then get it checked out. 90% of back pain is muscular, can last upto six weeks and can recur. Keep moving, take the painkillers and physio will help. Go private if the wait is too long in your area.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

What muscle relaxant are you taking, diazepam?

Think so Bacillus, im not having trouble with passing water or anything no tingling nothing other than the pain in the back.
