I had the ku31 on the fronts, they were quite good in wet and dry but absolutely dreadful in snow. I now have Falken Fk452 on the front which are a better all round tyre IMO.

They are a good mid range tyre, we fit loads at work, i had Autogrips on my TDI (i needed 4 tyres at once :ashamed:) anyway i done 30,000 miles on them and when i changed them it was because they were below the limit on the inner edge, still had 3 mm on most of the tyre, but they werent good in the wet, the Kumhos last well and IMHO are good in the wet

I had these once, (they came nearly new with some wheels I bought)

Whilst they seemed to perform ok, the road noise was terrible on mine.  :scared:

I seriously thought I had a shot wheel bearing. Then when I changed to the Conti's the noise disappeared  :happy2:

I had KU31's when i had my mk2 and they were like cheese. Grip was reasonable but they wore out in around 9 minutes.  :driver:

I ran them on a set of 19" BBS CH's for a while.  Road noise was ok when new but terrible when half worn, were OK for a mid range tyre.

Just ordered 4 KU39s myself today. Reviews are very promising. I wanted to change up a little from my Falken 452s but couldn't justify going for Goodyear F1 Ass 2s at the min.
