Fitted AVH-P4300DVD and now have poor FM reception - any ideas
« on: January 26, 2012, 09:55:19 pm »
 :sad1:

I have just had the above double din unit fitted and it is brilliant but and its a big but the FM reception is really poor. Any suggestions about how I can improve this?

I've checked normal interference and stuff but is there a suitable aerial booster I can install or some other trick I'm missing?

All suggestions welcome.

..........might be worth taking it to a well known auto sparkey or a decent i.c.e specialist & getting them to check it over?. Has your's got the sat nav as well?.

Never used one of them as my HU's have CAN boxes, but yeh I assume you'd want to give it a switched 12v.
