i think it's 100% better mate, the grill before was dull and doing what you've done lifts the front and adds some needed detail 

thinking of doing something similar to mine (everything black but badge left chrome)

Im thinking of a black roof and alloys now,does anyone have a picture of a blck roof on a silver golf?

its all tinted glass 

but achieves the same effect, if it were silver i would have sprayed it gloss black anyway as i feel it 'ties' the car together looks wise
