Grill strip colours

Just after a few ideas really, what colour have some people done their grill strips? Black car preferably but doesn't matter

delboy did his baby blue to match his interior

JPC I think did his white to show it wasn't a GTI but a diesel

I've seen one black one for a more "stealth" look, and a race car had green to match the green calipers.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Yep if you take your time, worth noting they aren't available separately from the grill so expensive to replace.

Also, instead of painting it just buy a car-stripe (about 1" wide) in the colour of your choice and cover in that. Take your time, and you will be amazed how good it looks….and how easy it was to do.  :happy2:

Plus unlike paint, if you get any stone chips, its removed in 5secs and you can easily redo it. Plus, I think the roll I bought on ebay was about £4 for a 10m roll.  :wink:

What did you paint the calipers with to get that sort of colour? I can only find limited colours for Caliper paint. I used normal aerosol on my old brembos and it was fine, would that be alright on standard calipers?
