Should be simple plug and play iirc.. Well mine were anyway, no wiring needed

+1, if they require wiring I think I would steer clear!  :surprised:

when i got my set about 2 yrs ago i had to connect the wires to the bulb holders, as the standard bulb holder is connected to the bulb (if that makes sense) i had to cut the plug off that connects to the car loom and then solder on 2 lucar connectors to plug on to the bulb holders

Remember they'll have to be removed for the MOT or you'll get an advisory (or a straight fail after Mar 31st).

as a tester i dont see my HIDs as being a problem  :innocent:, altho mine has headlight washers, i have been thinking about adding the height adjusters to keep it 100% legal although the wiring could be a PITA

LOL nope but then i could do what everyone else will do and thats take the HID bulbs out fit standard bulbs do test, then refit HID bulbs, the only way this can be enforced is if the police pull EVERY car with HIDS and give them a fine, one strike and your out, if they pull you again they take the car, its not right but im sure anyone with HIDs will do the above, so all the new test Laws are doing is making someone spend 5 mins before and after swapping bulbs, ive had my HIDs 2 yrs and i set them up at work spot on, ive had my OH follow me in my car and they dont dazzel, and i dont think ive been flashed yet, dont get me wrong there are some that do dazzel, most of that is down to adjustment/ K of bulbs used
