Climatic control panel
« on: January 29, 2012, 06:53:54 pm »
Hi all, I accidently scratched my climatic control panel when changing the RCD head unit, I have now learnt to use masking tape, but alas too late.

Can the panel with the buttons and heated seat dials be replaced without Vag com work?

When you change them you should carry out a short flap calibration, but you might be ok without it.

Edit: when putting the newer panel on make sure the controls are set the same as old unit.
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

Thanks for that, I may just try some subtle painting first.
