Awesome GTI Cruise Control
« on: January 29, 2012, 04:34:03 pm »
I collect my new GTI on Tuesday and am looking to get cruise retro fitted. Awesome seem fairly priced, anyone used them for this or got any other recomendations for people who can supply/fit in West Yorks/Manchester area.

VW Crosshills mian dealer retro fit crusie, but no idea of cost.

If you pm mortytgtdi he does all things vag an will probably be the best price.

I have pm'd him for Nav and bluetooth, but am yet to have a reply. He does have a bad back though at the moment so is not doing much.

Possibly cheaper as a DIY job, but at £150 its not that expensive to get done at Awesome or similar.

I have seen a variety of 'how to guides..' is it straightforward and how long did it take?

If you go down the DIY route, make sure you have the correct steering control module fitted other wise it won't work, also Eddie NL does retro fir CC, under 100 quid to supply and fit.  :happy2:
