MP3S into RNS510
« on: January 31, 2012, 04:52:17 pm »
So i have finally fitted my rns510, i have burnt them onto a DVD and loaded them to HDD on the RNS510.

My question is, i would like to put the songs into Albums and not in 1 folders. Is this possible ?

You have to put them into folders on the disc, IIRC.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

I used an SD card to load mine in. Worked a treat. Took ages though to copy 16gb.

Remember to ensure you can use the HDD in random, copy one track into the root folder and play that. This will then play through all the folders. Hope this helps.

Got it working mate,

I used cyberlink pro to do the data cd, made 1 folder, then sub folders for the albums. You can only do 5 albums as thats all it shows on the screen. Works a treat now, also works with my ipod dock under my armrest... more music storage :D
