Anyone watch it? (some people at work moan at me for having it on, bus and holiday gets mentioned quite a bit!)
Drink driver crashed into the Audi a4, they replaced it with a black mk5 R32 seized from a drug dealer. Would love it if he saw that episode! :)
Splitting hairs here - but I don't think they actually 'replaced the A4 with the R32'.  Me thinks it was just convenient editing of the programme makers.

One thing they forgot to mention though, whos gonna foot the bill for the extra fuel the R32 is gonna drink over the A4 TDI?

The tax payer foots the bill as always Sean :sad1:
Golf R gone.

Not if said crims have a stage 1 Eddie - not only will the Eddie leave the R, it will also outlast it the R on a tankful  :P

And when they do eventually catch said crims, they wont have any space in the boot of the R to put their stash!

In all serious though, that A4 Avant v6 TDI they lost was a seriously fast machine - why do you think it was on the 'Interceptor' fleet.  Standard 240PS, with a remap and some other fettling, will have it easily outperforming the R32

Did anyone see the earlier episode with the German RS4 Avant?  I thought Fritz was taking the piss  :booty: - wonder if he ever got a summons . . . but I thought the cops were dreaming a little though!  :indifferent:

Yeah piss funny that was, the cops said to him, accellerate to get speed up before joining carriageway and when he booted it and joined it they moaned at each other the way he set off, funny tho in his country he would not have been breaking the law anyway its just us with our archaic speed limits.

TBH if i was a german in UK I would be driving fast too, how they gonna check his details anyway and if they issue a summons he likely gonna say "Do One!"

It was the way the coppers thought their Evo was a match for the RS4 - dreamers!  :stupid:

Two Polish work colleagues were fined back in Poland for not paying the congestion charge. £4000. That was 4 years ago. The technology is in place. Dont forget driving is a privilege. Its in the cone-tract!  :P
