I understand the DSG appeal and having driven a DSG (not a GTI though) can see the pros of it. But the questions I have are: why silver, and if your old car was offered back, would you have bought it?

Thanks matey, no not really. Would only really have an .:R and a little out of my price range. Plus they aren't ideal for mobile detailing!

Funny you should say that, the dealer has just put 4 x spanking new Goodyears on!  So will have to get them changed at some point as it will clash with my OCD tendencies! 

What's the spec, Nath 

Pretty standard for now, only iPod dock and cruise as options but MF buttons and high line will be fitted along with an RNS at some point!

To be honest after having had the Eddy for three years I wanted it to be different, another reason why I went for the DSG. And Silver is the future Jaz, didn't anyone tell you? 

And yes, I'd have the old girl back in a heart beat!  She is being cherished just as much by Andy these days so I have had to let go!

Well thats part of the attraction Stealth as I like my car to look clean even when it isn't! 

Not sure what to do with the alloys so they will stay as is for now!
