i think pirelli have let the quality drop over the last few years as they go out of shape to easy on a different varient of cars--

As the sweetie monster has said they won't be on the car until I get the wheels done in the next few weeks!

Will report back then, but to be honest anything will be better than these crappy Goodyears!!

I think they are more of an 'eco' tyre than one designed to reign in 300+ bhp!!

Not many road tyres can contain 300bhp to the front wheels...

True, but would still be nice to be able to use the throttle pedal slightly more than 5%!

I forgot to give you the tyre gel to try out. Would have noticed any sling off on a white car!

So finally got round to getting the wheels refurbed and the new boots fitted!

Decided on a 'Brilliant Silver' as I wanted to keep it looking as OEM as possible. As you can probably see from the pics the inner Barrell had been painted in a dark anthracite colour to hopefully give the design of the wheel more of a 3D look.

While the wheels were away I thought I'd clean the brakes and calipers up a bit until I can afford some S3 upgrades!
