radio codes

Right, i have a collection of radios brand new but without codes. basically my next door neighbor deals with all vag parts from mk1 golf interior clips to audi r8 panels by the container full then sales them on ebay. THE GENUINE VW AUDI PARTS SHOP and in the last batch were some  Touch screen with sat nav and other various , i will find out what they are when i get 5mins. So is there anyway of getting a code for these with vagcom? rather than having to go the vw and audi??

Not sure mate, but if hes got an RNS510 i will take a chance on getting the code without having a chassis number  :happy2: find out if hes got one and how much he wants bud

if they are RNS510 you can create a new code with a RNS manager (I have this and so does VRSstu)

Codes are a couple of quid off e-bay, done from model number and serial number, software to decode them and others is about £8.

As Eddie says we each have a tool which can read and change codes as well as enable ViM for RNS510.
