Really random - Assessments (People who know colours)
« on: February 06, 2012, 03:30:18 pm »
I have an assessment for a new job - passed 5 stages already, but have a final assessment to do.....

They statement for this day is 'Fun and to be involved'

Anyway long story short - smart is the key.

I read online about shirt colours..........want to stand out a little, but not too OTT. No I'm not going in skirt and stockings......! but seriously what do you thinkof the following....have a dark grey-ish trousers

White shirt - tie                       << Thinking, plain boarding, typical and expected.

Plain solid coloured shirt blue & tie   << Safety......again, but think most will be like this

Was looking at

A pink or blue striped shirt (pushing towards the pink) bit out there and different...........but would you say these are too OTT

I guess it would all depend on the workplace sector/industry ?

But I would favour the pink

Plain white shirt - PROPERLY ironed.  Cuffs done up with either standard buttons or bling-free cuff links.

Tie of your choice, but not a novelty one, properly tied and neat upto the closed top button.

Smart ironed trousers - defo NOT too tight - no nads or male camel toe on view!  Make sure your fcuking flies are done up properly.

Black shoes - immaculately polished - style doesn't have to be conservative, but they can't be uber fashionable either.  Ideally a nice leather soled brogue or oxford.

And good luck.  :happy2:
