How did you get the cam belt changed under warranty ?
If your car is still in warranty and it is showing the symptoms of a worn cam then tell the dealer about all the cases on the forum that have been replaced through warranty. That's what I did!
DSG is not covered on the fixed price service plan.
Regarding the DSG i would be more tempted to go with the dealer, that way if you have any issues with the box at a later date they will look at it more favourable if the car has been looked after within the dealer network.
My dealer told me that if the box is not done by the 40k required date then if a problem occurs they are more often than not, not wiling to help out on the goodwill side of things outside of warranty.
Yeah I am going to try and get it done at the dealers. I just hope I can get a written quote or an email from the indy so that the dealer will price match!
