Hi Bud

Got your PM but I'll post it here, OEM pads are Textar with a 7074 compound which is a fast road nothing really special, had many guys wanting to keep it exactly 996T OEM and had awful squealing from the Porache OEM pads.....

Its to do with the fact that 350 is right on the limit for this caliper design size is 330mm.

Best bet fast road are the ATE pads from Euro Car parts, about £85 solid performer and quiet as a church mouse.....MUST be the ATE ones though...they're very good

Hi Dave I got the Minxtex ones from Brakes Int as could not get hold of you, are they ok as not fitted them yet? ta

Right, think i need to pull my finger out and get my calipers fitted to the Edition before I take a trip to R-Tech for a remap!

Does anyone have pics of them sat behind standard Edition 30 alloys?  Whats spacers are required to get them to fit?

Thanks

As Dave is near impossible to get hold of these days, anyone know the oem merc rotor for replacement?

(OEM partnumber) 1644210512 - diameter- 350mm

(Height)55,2mm  /(thickness) 32,0mm

Assume thats the correct one? Any input would be great :p Due for a new set soon.
