Reversing sensor holes ?

Hello im looking to change my bumper my current bumper has reversing sensors fitted these were fitted from new.

Do the sensors clip in as the bumper im looking to fit doesn't have holes in it or are the bumpers made different to house the sensors

i guess im asking if i can just drill holes in the new bumper to fit the sensors

Yup. When the dealers fit parking sensors, they drill the holes in.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Iirc there are hole templates marked  on the inside of all the bumpers?
