Zenec 2010 headunits?
« on: February 08, 2012, 12:39:12 am »
Seen these on a few cars, are they any good? Looking to upgrade and they retail for like a grand and resale for not much less! Is it worth it? Does anyone have any experience with them?

Mates got the latest one in his Audi... bought it for around £800... Reay good unit tbh!

3D HD navigation is brilliant as is the sound quality largely due to its powerful internal amp!
Generally packed full of really good features... bit expensive tho!
If you're having Audio problems i feel bad for ya son... I've got 99 problems but Bass aint one!

I've had the MC2000 for years, recently got the NC2010 and it is streets ahead of the old model.

I got one from ebay.de for £500 delivered, a 2011 unit. Integrated Parrot bluetooth and decent nav, nothing can compare at that price.

It also shows info on the highline, and digital aircon/parking sensors if you have those fitted.

Make sure it has all the kit (GPS antenna, TMC box, USB box etc).
A new update came out last week so put that on if you get it.

Also ask for the security code if activated and changed!
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

Completely plug and play as it's designed for the mk5 platform, including nav and track info on highline.

If you get it and need a genuine Zenec ipod/iphone charger cable let me know, doubt I'll use it after all (you can play music&movies from it).
