Bad Throttle Body Symptoms - PLEASE HELP
« on: March 06, 2012, 02:27:49 pm »
Guys, please could someone tell me what the symptoms of a bad throttle body are. I've just had a call from VW saying I need a new one. I'm a bit shocked to be honest as it's going to cost a fortune.

Thanks, I had seen that first link but I'm not experiencing any of those problems.

I really don't know. I've given them the go ahead to replace it on the proviso that if it doesn't totally remedy the problems I've been having they'll put my old one back on.

The code that was continually being thrown up was 16825/P0441/001089 but I'm unsure if it is the same now.

This thread details the problems I've been having - http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,41598.0.html
