Adjusting Sat Nav (RNS510) on the move
« on: February 08, 2012, 04:52:13 pm »
Hi Guys,

Is there anyway of 'fixing' my Sat Nav (RNS510) on the move?

Currently as soon as I try to enter a new destination while the car is moving, it just gives me a warning and doesn't let me enter anything.

Thanks,

Sean..

This is due to coding, if you have vag com untick the box that disables it.
Genuine VCDS VAG-COM HEX-USB + Genuine Vag Commander + Genuine VAG Tacho + Genuine VAG CAN PRO  + RNS Manager for Video in Motion and New Pin Code for RNS510

Cluster and Key coding

Location Great Yarmouth

As Eddie says it's the coding.

In VCDS in the last bit you need to remove the tick in the "Speed Threshold destination input" (or along those lines) byte

Doh!!

Must invest in VAG COM. Does it come with instructions, because all the codes and stuff look pretty complicated.

Where is the best place to buy it?

Surely that's dangerous anyway to enter a destination whilst driving.

Not if your passenger is doing it.
