So time to try the rims on the Bora to see what fits. Its a staggered setup with the rears being wider and with the Boras flared arches it means theres lots of room to accommodate the width of these alloys too.
Initially had an issue with one of the adaptors with 2 of the 5 threads for the rim being cross threaded and a bit chewed up, but the answer presented itself in the most unlikely of places....I had a renault come for tinting and the owner took the adaptor and vanished for 20 minutes and then returned with the plate all retapped!
Meant he got a free tint job, but in return i got to put the rims on the car
The coilovers and ARB desperately need to go on now as the ride height on the car now puts the mrs's landrover to shame

That said though, the rims look absolutely perfect, with the look and the setup..... they were wasted on an X5
