Erratic Idle
« on: February 11, 2012, 08:14:29 am »
I have noticed that my car has started to have an erratic idle? One minute 800rpm next it is 1200rpm.

I have done a search on the web and the probable cause could be the PCV see this guide:

http://vagdrivers.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=40537. Anybody else think this is the problem.

 Also seems an easy fix!

Pcv is a common issue Ian.  You'll find lots of info on oem revised Pcvs or aftermarket upgrades on here  :happy2:

I had a similar problem a while ago, it was the PCV, think it was about £35 from vw, easy to replace, if I can do it, anyone can
