I've read somewhere that the non sporty versions of the next gen Golf won't have fully independent rear suspension like all the current mk5/mk6's have but it won't be as agricultural as the mk4 was.'Sporty' models will still have fully independent rear suspension and apparently the mk7 GTI will have an aluminium roof and bonnet to reduce weight. According to t'internet anyway

Yeah but the way the prices are going, it wil be £32k for basic model
