Gah! Beaten to it!

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Option number 5.... Whatever the forecourt price is, that's what it costs. No additional discount given.

I went to tesco and got my weekly shop yesturday, got my 10p a litre off and saved £4 on my fill up   :happy2:

Price i payed was £1.27P a litre.

I filled my car up on 2nd Feb and it was £139.9 a litre, I filled the car up today and it was £140.9 a litre. So I cannot see the 5p off, unless of course they put the price up to £145.9 yesterday.....

.
A good heads-up but a 30-mile round trip to my nearest Shell for V-Power and so not really worth the time and effort. Besides, I'm just not a romantic kind of bloke.... Even with my beloved car!

Its a 10 mile round trip to the shell garage every week for me anyway. For the sake of £2-£3 its not worth the fuss.
Its just the principle they have this big ad campaign on, and its a load of cr@p just to get a few extra people into their forecourts

I filled up early hours of the morning, although the garage was on the shell list of particpants, they refused to acknowledge this and charged full price

Same here in Lincoln. The shell terms and conditions say the offer runs from 00:01 to 23:59 on Valentines day, might have to give them a phone call. :stupid:

Same result here too, spoke to a nice lady at Shell HQ, she's past it on up the chain....I won't hold my breath though... :fighting2:
Cheers,

Wayne

I brimmed mine tonight in Sheffield.  Pump price was set to 140.9 but display showed 135.9.  I thought I'd done alright but it seems some of you paid even less.  I had the tatty remains of a Shell money off voucher wedged in the bottom of me wallet which took the edge of it a bit further.  This place was pushing the promotion with flags and posters stuck to all the pumps.

Big Hairy Balls!!!!!  :jumping:

Now I'm nice and cosy in bed reading this, and that feeling that "There's something I was gonna do today" suddenly becomes apparent.
